 The State of Palestine (August 2025) is a deidartist zine responding to photojournalism in Palestine in 2025. All reference images were sourced from electronicintifada.net

Famine was confirmed by the UN for the first time in Gaza in August 2025. This came after months of disproportionate aid blockades , and ‘humanitarian aid sites’ which closer resemble shooting galleries for the IDF. The situation has hardly improved since the US brokered ceasefire, as Gaza is still under brutal Israeli blockade, occupation and bombings.
